JS in action !!!

Oh No…James Stewart off to winning start with ’10 YZ450F. AMA Supercross Champion James Stewart inaugurated the 2010 YZ450F in perfect fashion after sweeping the very high-profile US Open Indoor event at the glitzy setting of Las Vegas and walking away with the 100,000 $ grand prize with victory on both Friday and Saturday nights.
The San Manuel rider had two different evenings. He cleared-off to ace Friday’s main event, but started poorly and had to work his way through the pack until reaching leader Ryan Villopoto by mid-race on Saturday. “I am just happy to get out here and race tonight,” he said after the first race. “There is a lot of work that I have to do, but the bike worked great tonight. This is always a fun event and I am excited to be a part of it.”
James Stewart and his team now head across the Atlantic for some headlining appearances at premier European Supercross venues. The first will be at Genoa in Italy and then the Bercy SX in Paris.  The 2010 AMA Supercross contest begins on January 9th at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim for the first of 17 rounds.

New for 2008 is a big speedo right in the center, with a tach to the left and new gas gauge to the right.  Apparently a gas gauge is important to Ninja 250 owners, so now they have a big juicy one. At first I thought I would miss the center tach, as my last experience with the previous model was thumb-wrestling riders at a Kawasaki-sponsored trackday to see who would get to ride the screamin’ little 250s. Keeping an eye on revs is crucial when trying to ride as fast as you can on the track, not so for street riding, which is the most common use of the 250. Big speedo, good. Gas gauge, better.
